SIT. STAND. PLAY. is Kenzie Sitterud’s attempt to design an evening that invites the audience to
recognize the seriousness of it all, and at the same time, forget about their worries through play. The
evening will be a four hour event that encourages the patrons to tap into their playfulness while
engaging with strangers with different perspectives. Kenzie’s main goal is to create some serious
moments through the use of juxtaposition through sound, performance, and color. Kenzie has invited
a dynamic group of artist and musicians to activate the Denver Art Museum though sound, silence, and
play. This evening with include Agents of Sound, Agents of Thought, and Toy Agents.
